Link to the video (Very gross, kinda like The strange thing about the johnsons, if yk yk)
So basically, I was watching this video today (Right in the middle of eating, bc it's like a ancient need to have entertainment while you eat) and I'm scrolling through the comments, and I gotta say:
I hate it when people try to defend or give a history of themselves before they tell their grievous actions, in hopes of padding or trying to give the audience bias as they read the actual insane shit they did to someone.
Because the way I see it, it's kind of like...Blaming? I don't know if this is just me being a dick, but I think that just because you have a shitty childhood, shitty upbringing or experience in the past, it shouldn't have any affect on the actual event. By writing about the shitty history, you haven't changed anything, you've changed the setting, but not the fucking situation.
I get that just because they did this one thing, it shouldn't mean we erase their history entirely, but I just don't think that we should associate their history with whatever bad thing they did.
Eg. If a guy was bullied or something as a kid, I don't think it gives them an excuse to kill some other people.
YT video I watched today. (Rant.)
