Finding Love Online (>3O) <3 <3

Ok, so I've been thinking a lot lately about finding love online + if that is still possible 2day, like that You've Got Mail type thing, u kno? I kno that in evry generation ppl say oh u kids these dayz, u dn't kno the real thing, but idk I'm strtin 2 rlly wonder.... 

I read this study for a class where these young women talked abt how they wud luv 2 meet ppl naturally like going up 2 sum1 in a bookstore or @ the grocery store, sumthn like dat, but how in reality they've been conditioned 2 b so hesitant around strangers/men in particular, they said they would absolutely find that weird if it rlly happened. 

Similar 2 dat, u kno those ads 4 eharmony or bumble, sum stupid app, where they recreate these beautiful, cinematic meet-cute moments.... + then compare them 2 a shitty exchange from their app like, awww look it's like a virtual meet-cute! That rlly pisses me off bcuz no, that is not a meet-cute, that's sum stupid rndm okcupid convo. 

I guess ovrall it's abt putting yrself out there, in-person or online, but still I think it's easier 2 fall in luv with sum1 ovr classic e-mail or video calls, even like playing an mmo or sumthn. Nbdy gets engaged thru streaks or Tiktok comments.
