MY FAVORITE VIDEOGAMES OF ALL TIME

I orginally made this as a forum post response but figured I should also save it as my first blog post. Why not? :P

Blue Dragon is a turn-based JRPG that follows the main characters named Shu, Jiro, and Kluke, and are joined by Marumaro and Lady Zola. Each main character wields a supernatural ability known as a Magic Shadow, which takes the form of some kind of monster or creature. Shu wields the Dragon, Jiro has his Minotaur, Kluke with her Pheonix, Marumaru has the Sabertooth Tiger, and Lady Zola wields the Killer Bat.
The game is absolutely massive, sporting a total of three disks required to enjoy the whole game. If you have a lot of time to spend, I suggest tracking down this game and going on the epic adventure that lies in store.

If you haven't heard of House of the Dead by now, go to the nearest arcade and see if you can play it. Known to be a classic title from SEGA, the House of the Dead is a rail shooter that puts you in control of a special agent hunting down clues to rescue your (assumed) girlfriend, and put an end to the machinations of the mad scientist Curien. Test your marksmanship and gun down droves of undead enemies!

Please, don't tell me you haven't played at least ONE game in the Super Smash Bros. series... If not, then I guess you should keep reading. Super Smash Brothers Ultimate boasts itself as being the grand culmination of the entire series, sporting the largest roster of any Smash game ever. Breaking through with the tagline, "Everyone is Here!" every Smash character that was in the previous game makes an appearance in this one! With the main mechanics remaining unchanged, play as your favorite Nintendo characters as you try to beat the ever-living tar out of your enemies and blast them off of the stage!

Last, but not least -- Phantom Dust. The world has fallen into ruin, and society as we know it is gone. The remnants of humanity live underground, where they are safe. A strange amnesia-inducing dust blows over the surface of the world, and individuals with psychic abilities called ESPERS can harness the power of the dust, but not for too long! Phantom Dust is a third-person arena shooter with deckbuilding elements. Fight against other ESPERS and monsters that lurk in the ruins, collecting new abilities and building up your unique arsenal. (For those of you who are genuinely interested, this game is FREE ON THE MICROSOFT STORE, FOR BOTH PC AND XBOX ONE!)

In short, those were my favorite games of all time. I hope you enjoyed!
