Typically, I write songs based off of past feelings, current feelings, or life events that affected me. My favorite part about writing songs though is putting the story together. For example: I'm working on an album called "Hopeless Romantic!" which, like the name suggests, is about being a hopeless romantic and the pain that can come with that. To me, it's about more than just love. I think it's about the childish view of love that we have when we're kids and what it's like to realize that love isn't some fairy tale. The album talks about the growth and development that I went through that changed my view on such a complex idea. There's a lot of symbolism in the album cover if you wanna analyze it lol. But in short, the album cover represents two things. A childish view of love and holding onto this love for someone, not letting go out of the fear of getting hurt. There's a sort of irony here. Holding on to our love for someone who doesn't feel the same instead of moving on, only makes us hurt more in the end. I suppose the takeaway from this album is to move on and stop worrying about other couples or feeling like you're falling behind. Getting over someone will feel like shit today but it'll feel even worse if you start tomorrow. I honestly couldn't tell you my favorite song off of the album but I will say that a few really stick out to me. "The Painter's Muse", "Happier Than Me", "Rubber Skin and Helium Hearts" and "Other Couples". I feel like each song in the album represents the stages I went through when trying to get over someone. The first few are the crush stage, then the crying over it stage, and finally the acceptance stage. But yeah, I'm excited to continue working on them and releasing my music <3

Honestly, it could take a few months to get the entire album produced but 100% will do!

Sounds like your music will help a lot of people with getting over heartbreak. We all been there in one way or another. The messages in your music ought to help people overcoming that obstacle. You're singing from experience after all. Very powerful way to give advice is to in someway say "hey I been there before. This is how I overcame it."
