This is both a cry for help and also just me yapping. I personally hate writing fiction. My imagination is so limited that writing anything that has to do with visualization is a feeling so demonic ugh.
Usually, when I search online, the solutions to writer's block is to write about different kinds of fiction prompts or high school-level argumentive essays. I want to write complex criticisms. I think this is also the reason as to why I despise most poetry. It might have to do with the fact that mainstream poetry is so muddled down to a point where there's no meaning to any of the words, and as long as it paints a pretty picture that's all that people want.
I am currently in the process of writing a fiction book and it's tortue. It has been so long since I've started a book and I'm having troubles with pacing it. I feel like my first chapter could've been split into two with a lot more added context and fluff in the middle but idk.
