This is hard to describe, this album is beautiful yes, but I wouldn't call it that it would sell it short, I wouldn't call it haunting for the same reason. I suppose the only thing I can call it is Emotional. This album is the purest form of Emo to me, this album is what emo is. An evolution from the Emotional hardcore into the genre that all other emo genres are described in relation to. Post hardcore in and of itsself doesn't make emo, but the artistic combination of hardcore, screamo, and post rock elements into this just beautiful work of art is something to behold. Screams and spoken word wind into an orchestration of seemingly simple melodic and harmonic elements into a reflection of despair and tragedy that is remarkable to behold. Super good would recommend
