I've seen this blog. Someone saying "10 things that will make you happier", and all I saw were or weirdly specific things or things that would only momentarily give you a good feeling... Or something like "anti depressants"??? That's for an illness, and not everyone who is sad has depression what??
Anyway, this is how I think people can generally become happier... Or have a more enjoyable life.
Take care of your health: drink water, don't overeat nor starve yourself, be physically active... I think this is obvious. Also, take care of your mental health. Don't suppress it, or accept you are miserable! Do something, get out there and do friends, use well your free time, instead of spending hours online and say "oh, I hate no time for anything" just do something. Go somewhere. Have a hobbie. As it's common knowledge: Mens Sana in corpore sano. Healthy mind in a healthy body;
Do what you want keeping in mind what you need: For example, you are in school, in my country in 10th grade, we choose an area we want and we have to stick with that. For basically all of our life. It determines what courses we will be able to take because there are certain subjects that we need for a certain course... Basically, choose something you enjoy, because you will have to stick with that for your whole life, but also choose something that will give you stability. Money. So you can eat what you want, do what you want. Without money, you cannot do you hobbies! You cannot do what you enjoy! It is vital to take a path that will give your stability but also that you don't hate;
Plan ahead: have at least notion of what you want to do. In your life or even tomorrow. You'll be more productive and organisation even in the tiniest forms is useful. Just don't forget that if you cannot do something in one day, it's fine;
Have people around you: it is always nice to have friends... There are many places we're you can create a friendship... Places you shouldn't really get attached to people: at work, gym, maybe even school... It's also important to note that to have any kind of relationship you need to work on it. Talk to people, tak them places to hang out, explore. Having a small circle of good friends it's important, and you should specifically try to stay with your family as connected as possible. Yes, there are particular cases where there are assholes in the family that will abuse you and take your money away and all... But in general, just be with them. It doesn't matter if you mom was harsh when you were a teen or your dad beat you once or twice because you misbehaved. They care about you, and you siblings or cousins... Stay with you family, they are the ones who will be there no matter what;
I mean, in general just use your free time wisely and do what you like, have good people around you and have a healthy lifestyle... Oh, and don't get into philosophy lol... Uhhh don't do drugs too.
Some people want to be useful, some happy, some whatever... I just found a little silly a kid talk about how to be happier... What is happiness right? Everyone sees it different...

If any of you are struggling with thoughts of self harm, I have some words that can help:
Even eternal suffering is better than nothing. your life may be horrible. but if you throw it away you don't even have your thoughts left. no feeling, no emotion, no regret, no joy, no memories good or bad, you can't reflect on your life. you just.... don't exist anymore. you're gone, for good. you don't even have misery.
It's horrifying, because we don't know what happens after. there is a very real possibility that death is like before you were born: an endless, dreamless sleep.
It's the absence of..... **ANYTHING**.
That is worse than eternal torment, fire and brimstone, slavery, and especially worse than anything you may be struggling with now.
Not only that, but I assure you, there are people who love you, or who would if you gave them the chance, SOMEBODY cares about you, even if they don't show. Life is all you got, you better not waste it.

what I'm trying to say is... suicide is not an escape, it's an even worse prison.
