Wanting to listen to more live music + playing more music myself

Man, do I wanna go listen to live music.

I don't really have concert money laying around and, really, I just wanna listen to small bands. Like, I just wanna go to some small bar or park or whatever and just listen to someone who's really passionate about creating. Just a small band starting out or something. 

I mean, I would like to go to more concerts, I think it's one of the things I wanna try and prioritize my money towards, but right now, I just really want to go to watch someone play live.

Super nerdy incoming, but I wanna go to something kinda like in Bocchi the Rock (gosh, I'm cringing at my own nerdness), where it's just a little underground club thing where you can listen to bands lol. Only downside I suppose is that, now that I'm in the US and not in my home country, I'm not really allowed in bars anymore because I'm suddenly not considered legal age anymore or something. I kinda miss that about home sometimes, but alas, I guess it makes sense. I never drank much to begin with, but I suppose it's best not to give the wrong message.

Personally, I've also gotten into playing more music myself. Today, I spent a big chunk of time learning a new song, it was really neat. 

I had a lot of thoughts about all this free time I had and not really much to show for what I really spent all this time on.. So, learning a song it is! And it felt really good. I love playing, there's so much passion it, even if it's just playing someone else's song. 

I've been thinking about renting a guitar and learning how to play that. I would like to buy my own instruments but, like mentioned, money isn't really something I just got laying around lol. I suppose I'll keep dreaming and playing my little kalimba for now. It's really peaceful though, I love it a lot. I would like to learn more instruments though, but maybe it's good to start with a relatively straight forward instrument, rather than just throwing myself out there! That's not to say it's easy playing this thing though. Gosh, there has been so moment where I haaaate those stupid tabs. What makes it even worse is tuning it... rip 

Let me know if you know any good songs to play on Kalimba. I've been looking everywhere, but I need something new, I feel like.
