Smart phone to dumb phone

Recently I decided that the brain rot I was experiencing by doom scrolling on Tiktok, Twitter, and Insta was just too much. So on an impulse buy I went and bought a nokia 7390 and knowing me of course I had to make this way more complicated thanA it had to be, so instead of buying a new flip phone that would be nearly 100% compatible with my service provider I just had to buy the one that only runs on 2g. I thought this wouldn't be too bad because t-mobile still supports 2g but little did I know that I would be signing up for spending hours on the phone with very unhelpful representatives. The phone itself worked beautifully I love it so much I'll make sure to insert a picture of it. Anyways the issue came whenever I would try to do anything involving mms or using the web, apparently this would give the signal to t-mobile that I was using a non lte compatible phone and they would block service to the device. For some reason however sms and calling works just fine. I've been unable to fix this issue but I have been using calling and texting for the past week and I can already see a major improvement in how I'm spending my time I've finally finished some books that have been sitting half read on my book shelves. I do find myself bored often when I cant just pull up social media with any spare time I have in the day, but I believe that its good for me to be bored because I have to end up being creative in finding a way to entertain myself. I've kinda lost the plot here but If your ever feeling like the doom scrolling is getting out of hand I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend you look into getting a dumb phone. There are several different types out there with more modern features or even one that only have call and text. All ik is that I feel way more connected with the people around me now. Okay I wrote way more than I intended to on here so def not going back and proof reading this but hey enjoy I guess idk if ill post again but yk what evs
