CSS Noob (AKA me) and Why I miss old Internet Culture

I've been on this SpaceHey kick for a couple days, although I made my account I believe in 2022/2023. I haven't touched it since I created my account until just now and I jumped right into tutorials on how coding works. My brain is COOKED but I'm slowly getting the hang of it.

Can't be thankful enough that a site like this is a thing again because I feel like coding webpages has become a lost art. The repetitive backgrounds, small window boxes, blingee, forum/blog posting, it has all slowly started becoming lost to time. Not to sound like a boomer, and as much as I'm aware that the older internet days we quite toxic, I can't help but miss it. It all had a charm to it. There is so much work that goes into making your own aesthetic and being a part of a community, so so much of everything has become watered down.

Coding takes effort and time, it makes you appreciate your work more and gives something for you and the people in your community to talk about. I'm not saying that I hate how simple internet aesthetics have become, just that I miss when there was more TLC involved.
