I’m not all too familiar with grindcore and powerviolence, but I do have a cursory knowledge of emoviolence, something that this album falls within yet not quite like other albums in the genre a la orchid or love lost but not forgotten. It’s a 42 song compilation of kickass powerviolence that’s great, it tickles my brain in a great way, but that’s just it. It’s a great album yeah, but it offers nothing to me that’s truly special, nothing was distinct enough or stuck around long enough to mean anything more.
