So as the title says, i really, really dislike when people get overly possessive of fictional characters. I understand having certain headcanons and whatnot. But like...when people act like they KNOW the characters better than others. Like no, Gojo did not tell you that he wouldn't wear that he literally isn't real. Or when people say "XXX character is my waifu you dont know her like I do!". Like come on man, I know your life is like, shitty or something but come ON. I totally get a bit frustrated by mischaracterizations, but that is completely different from headcanons. Of course, I don't like certain headcanons made by people, that's a given. But you don't know this character personally. Its the same thing where people will actually get *mad* because you don't like a certain character. Especially when a character is objectively a bad person, like Griffith for example. Plus, people dont need a reason to not like a character, maybe its just vibes. Sequentially, when people have the " I like when people like stuff I like but only when they enjoy it The Right Way." Like dude shut up.
Because you don't *own* this character, people are free to not like or like this person. This guy isn't your husband, this girl isn't your wife. With real people its even worse man, like those people who obsess over certain celebrities. Celeb crushes are totally normal, but like if someone you know says they like them too. And you start going ape shit you're going to look CRAZY. People like this need to keep these feelings to themselves and seak mental help. Im not even saying this in a rude way, but its very unhealthy.
(sorry for bad writing, i just wanted to rant)

I dislike when people are weirdly possessive of fictional characters...
