After the four shows I did with the cover band Evolution, I figured there would be a nice long break since this Nov 10 gig in NYC is coming up. Get to chill out, work on TM's songs, hadn't touched them in 10 years.
Nope.
The bassist from the band Supernova texted me the other day and said "Our guitarist is out with shoulder surgery, so you think you can do some dates?" I like the band, they are pros, and so I said yes but had to lay down some "laws":
1) No adding new songs on the fly.
2) This NYC gig is top priority so if I have to drop out of a show for rehearsal, I have no choice.
Fortunately, the band understands and so I will be playing four shows in October:
Oct 11 Black River Barn, Randolph NJ
Oct 18 Mrs Riley's Public House, Highbridge NJ
Oct 25 Lentini Farms, Newton NJ
Oct 26 Patrick's Pub, Hopatcong, NJ
So yes it looks kinda-sorta-maybe-not really like a "tour" so there you go!
No rest for the handsome.
