"Mid"

I find it really lame how the internet has turned a word that, for all intents and purposes was meant to refer to something average/mediocre, into something that's an insult when
stating something is average or mediocre is a completely fair take. People online damn near require you to say something is good or bad, no in betweens. Like myself, I'd call Taylor Swift's music rather mid, if I had posted that anywhere else online god knows how my DMs would be filled with people giving me grief about not liking it (though that's more in regards to people being overly defensive for that which they like).
