Death Forest theory

I have a theory about a pretty obscure Japanese game called "Death Forest"

So, in the lore of Death Forest, there’s Yoshie, Saki, UMA, Stalker, Stranger, and Yoshida.
That’s actually more characters than I thought.
Anyway, lemme recap the lore, just saying now, all this information comes from the Death Forest wiki.
UMA was formerly a man named Susumu Ryugasaki, who was 20 years old when he was working on building a maze in a forest, in 1998. Some kind of incident happened there, and killed him, and turned him into a spider-like creature.

Fast forward 9 years.
Yoshie Kimura and Asuno Youto are two friends. Yoshie is 20 years old, and literally everything about Asuno is unknown… Maybe she’s the killer? Anyway, whatever.
Yoshie was a med-student, and was two years in when she went to a forest with her friend, Asuno. While in there, she was ambushed by a man, and beaten to death with a metal pipe, turning her face into a permanent smile.
Asuno is never mentioned again, so she was either also killed, the killer, or just never returned to the forest.

Yoshie’s spirit haunted the forest after that, and, within the next 6 years, a boy… or girl… or something else? I don’t know. The wiki calls him a boy, but Saki is more of a traditionally feminine name, so…
I’ll just refer to them as “they” or “them” following.
Well, Saki was killed, and then dumped into a shed, and now, in the game, when you open the shed, their face phases through you. In older builds, it killed you, but not anymore.

Now, the year is 2013, and 23 year old Kenji Omiya is taking 18 year-old Ren Sudou, and 17 year-old Chika Yoshida in a car… wherever. Kenji says they need to go to the forest for “unspecified urgent business” and his car conveniently breaks down, leaving them stranded in the middle of the forest. Kenji was immediately chased by Yoshie, where he was cornered, and eventually killed.
Ren was killed by Saki.
Chika was stabbed by a mysterious killer, and died in a cabin. This is the third time a “mysterious killer never to be mentioned” has killed a character in the lore.

Now that you’ve got a refresher on the lore, I’m gonna propose a theory of mine.
Kenji Omiya is the “mysterious killer”...

I’m gonna say now, that he definitely didn’t kill Uma, or cause the accident, or anything, because he would’ve been 8 at the time of Uma’s death. 

My theory is that Kenji saw Yoshie and Asuno in the cave during 2007, when he was 17, and, for some reason, killed Yoshie in cold blood, possibly trying to get Asuno in the process.

This is probably why Yoshie immediately went to attack him in 2013.
But that’s not all, have you ever heard the saying that “criminals always return to the scene of the crime”? Well, I think that within the following six years, he re-visited the forest, and saw Saki, and for whatever reason, he killed them, and dumped them in the shed.
Now, back to 2013. Yoshida was killed by a “mysterious killer”
I think that Kenji drove Ren and Yoshida to the forest to kill them, which is the “urgent business” he needed to go there for. It’s also possible he faked his car breaking down.
He was going to kill them both right there, but when Yoshie came, he panicked, and ran.
While running, he eventually caught up with Yoshida, and stabbed her, but saw Yoshie, panicked more, and didn’t finish the job.

Yoshida crawled to the cabin, and died of blood loss, and this is when Kenji was cornered by Yoshie, and accepted his fate… 

But hey, that’s just a theory... A GAME THEORY
