Should I watch Buffy?

Yesterday I was watching Pretty In Pink, a Molly Ringwald movie, the same actress from the '80s hit, Breakfast Club. And my aunt tells me, "You should watch Buffy." Because I am alternative, love scary stuff, and it's a classic. She used to love it around my age, but a little more older. I love classics that your parents would watch in high-school or in their younger years, which thankfully I would go check it out.

Thing is, I know Anthony Stewart Head is in it, because he plays my favorite character, Nathan Wallace. From my absolute favorite movie, REPO! The Genetic Opera. In the show she recommends, he plays the librarian, Rupert Giles. She told me he was a hit back in the '90s. I would so watch it mainly for the plot and him.

I want to know if it's actually good or not, so I can watch it after finishing Season 2 of House M.D.
