 The day i'm writing this. The day it all went wrong.

   I'm 2 hours into my shift at Walmart, they have a new policy about cold/refrigerated foods; After a customer at the self-scan decides they don't want to buy a refrigerated item, take it to customer service and get a front end team lead to call for someone else to take it back where it belongs. We were getting complaints about food waste because so many people change their minds about buying frozen foods for some reason.

  Some woman decides not to buy a package of meat, so I take it up to customer service. To my annoyance neither of my front-end leads were up there, so I wait. I'll say about 30 seconds later one comes around, but she's obviously busy so she can't ring anyone up. I don't have a walkie-talkie so she tells me to use the intercom and say "Cold food pickup at customer service."

  "say it twice" she reminds me. I walk behind the counter and i have to have a girl help me turn the intercom on, she's around my age, 18. There was another girl with me behind me seemingly also around 18.

  I pick up the intercom and speak

 "cold foodf fuh..."

  The two girls' jaws drop, obviously embarrassed for me. I hide my face and they both begin laughing. "say it twice" I remember my boss says, so I try once again, say "cold food pickup" it's not hard!!

  "cold foofd fuuh..."

OH MY GOD

I STUTTERED TWICE OVER THR INTERCOM

"COLD FOOD FUHH"

I'M SO EMBARASSED EVERYONE IN THE STORE HEARD AHDHAHAH

i laughed so hard and just gave up.
