the number of stories and fics ive read on that treacherous website is abysmal BUT the fucking writing on there is literally oscar worthy. i'll see booktok books and read a page from them and literally just sit there like??? cuz why are they getting paid to write this trash while cockinator3000 is feeding an entire village the most insane toecurling writing for FREE?? and to top it off- CONTROVERSIAL OPINION ALERT!!!- the moderation is the most basic it can be meaning there's anything for anyone who searches for it. i love that. yes there are freaks and absolute nutcrack shit on there that's defo morally disgusting but that's the beauty of it. u have the choice to see that kinda shit instead of it just popping up cuz of stupid fucking algorithm traumatizing u. im sure there's an odd fic or two that slip thru the cracks but its not to such a massive scale as other websites/apps and god does that make ao3 superior.
