how to i insert an imagine in a bulletin/blog post?

im tryna post an art dump but whenever i insert an imagine nothing shows up. i tried pasting it into the actual bulletin and pasting the URL in the "insert image" thingy. if anyone would like to show me how to paste an image that actually shows up thatd be greatly appreciated. thankssssssssss :3333
