OCTO RAMBLINGS

now i myself dont own an octopus, but they're my favourite animal and are mainly the antagonist in my fav game series (SPLATOON), and since i have a touch of the 'tism, i hyperfixate on these things.

Octopuses-

- have blue blood because its copper based and its more efficient in low oxygen areas (applies to all cephalopods/ invertibrae)

- can stay on land for an hour

- have a neurotoxic venom in their beaks (applies to all cephalopods)

- have 9 brains, 3 hearts and can feel, see, taste, smell and hear out of each sucker

- are colourblind and have some form of dyslexia

- can move their eyes and use each mini brain in their tentacles to solve complex problems which makes them the smartest invertibrate

- literally cannot get fat, all extra fats go to the ink sac, and on tht topic, their ink sac is connected to the anal part of their siphon (nose)

- have an impossibly loud hearing range of 600- 1000 hz, humans can barely stand 115 without damage

- are cutie patooties :D
