This is one of the shorter stories I like to tell people, but it’s still one of my favorites. It happened back in seventh grade. I remember talking with a couple of friends when we heard a loud noise coming from the hallway. Curious, we decided to check it out, and there we saw two guys, let's call them "K" and "S," having a fight.
At first, it was funny because their fight looked like something out of a slapstick comedy, almost like two girls wrestling awkwardly.
But that quickly changed. "S" managed to shove "K" away, and for some reason, "K" snapped and tried to yank one of the doors off its hinges. My friends and I were practically drowning in laughter, but we stopped when "K" actually pulled the door free and smacked "S" across the face with it. "S" burst into tears, and I swear I couldn’t stop laughing for an hour.
The funniest part was that none of the teachers ever found out about the fight, so neither "K" nor "S" got into any trouble. The whole thing ended when another friend, who we'll call "M," walked in, saw what was happening, and pulled the two of them apart.
I’ll never forget the look of shock mixed with laughter on my friends’ faces. It was one of those moments where everything seemed to slow down, and we just stood there, watching the chaos unfold right in front of us.
