Music and physical media

During the Summer I found an old Mini Mp3 USD music player,, I put a bunch of midwest emo and post-hardcore albums that I listened ovrr and ovr again and it defined my start/middle of my Summer... 

It got me thinking.. maybe I should start listening on mp3 or cd players.. Spotify just feels sad and I've watched wayy tooo many videos about the pros and cons of it.. 

I would switch immediately but my dad has a family plan and I am just too cheap to not use what's being payed for ToT

How do y'all listen to music? And pls help me decide on my fate....
