Boredom's Lullaby

Boredom's Lullaby

A heavy blanket, soft and gray, Drapes over me, day by day. A yawning void, a silent sigh, As time creeps by, so slowly I.

No spark ignites, no flame does leap, Just endless hours, a tranquil sleep. A mind adrift, a soul at rest, In boredom's cradle, I'm truly blessed.

No worries haunt, no fears invade, Just emptiness, a peaceful shade. A lullaby of stillness deep, As boredom's lullaby puts me to sleep.
