SUPPPP this is my first blog 👏

Ok so, today imma talk about something that has been bugging me fora long time now. Ok so goth is a music based subculture, which means you really only have to listen to the music, the clothes are optional. But, being a goth myself, me and the vast majority of the community like to dress in goth fashion (which is super cool btw), but anyway, if you are goth and you dress goth, PLEASE remember that goth has origins from the punk scene (shout-out to my local punk bestie), which means that your clothes should be anti large corporations, so this means buying from thrift shops, doing DIYs, and a lot of reusing old clothes, so buying from large corporations such as shein and temu and whatever, isn't really goth. But also, wearing colour other than black, doesn't make you not goth, CUZ ITS A MUSIC BASED SUBCULTURE. Goth is also about the ideology of it, basically being against the mainstream, and about self expressionism. Fvck that was long, hope this helps XD
