sad and angry writing today. i promise to bring my lighter writings over soon. xx

「 he who shall not be named 」

mine is wonderous, yours is rotten / i look for gods in your eyes, my body and soul is barren / i am as a fragile lamb and spooked doe, you are a predator toying with your prey / the sun shines on you, the moon cries for me / your skin is blistered and boiled, i am the aloe you apply.

a sweet twinkling melody, it soothes your pained soul

my voice swoops and sways, arms outstretched for you

your tears soak my skin, it's a poison that is seeping in

i hold you through the screen, my eyes already glistening

you cry your woes to me, you're a victim in your mind

and I hold you as the barbed wire of your mind wraps around my limbs

you are wrong and you are evil, and i am your victim that shall weep for you.

「 fatherly love, a joke 」

an angry man is all you will ever be

you are no better than your father, no better than he before him

in your domain, i am trapped as a bug in a web, a helpless struggle

your supposed love is twisted and rotten, not that you know any better of the ways you treat us all

your love strikes and draws the blood of your partner and your children

they crawl back in forgiveness, they don't know any different

what will you do without them? without us? without me?

i know different now, and soon i will fly free

and i beg you not to hurt them in the absence of me

i beg you as your child that only wishes to roam free, i will not hurt you as you have hurt me

so please.

i am the soundboard to every emotion you convert to anger / you are the problem, you are the solution i place the blame upon

you are the man that yells and drowns your sorrows in alcohol / i am the child that cries and looks for a screen to find comfort in

you are the cold icy wind / i am the sorrowful rain that drops

will we be the same in every lifetime?

a rabbit and the trap / a plant and the fly / a cage and the monster / a man and his child.
