thrifting is getting WAY too expensive!!! >:( (rant)

Thrifting used to be a nice place to shop (esp for things like sweaters where older ones are typically better quality) but now its so much money?!?! srzly if ur a thrifter u know what im talking ab. The prices for items in goodwill? Ive seen DAMAGED clothes sold for MORE THAN THEY WERE WORTH TO BEGIN WITH. I dont even stop in platos closets anymore because everything in there is either too expensive for what it is or its been picked through by fifty people already. Im lucky enuff to live in a small town with a local nonprofit where i can find good stuff, but whenever i go to the thrift in a city its crazy expensive. Im talking 3-5 bucks for clothes in my town, and 10-90 in the goodwills? WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?!?!?!

The same thing happened with vinyl records. I was lucky enough to get a box from my late grandma before her house flooded, and got a record player. I could find records for a buck apiece and got every ABBA one i could find, and now theres vinyls selling for 50+ BUCKS? i stg everything that gets popular either gets too expensive for most people or trashed
