It's gonna sound super dumb but a bit ago, I moved to another country to be with my boyfriend. It's been super chill, I've been loving it so so much, I'm so happy to be here with him.
I talked with my mom on the phone yesterday and she asked if I'd seen this new, apparently really popular, documentary filmed in my home country. I hadn't, so I started watching it.
Tell me why I'm so "nostalgic" and missing all of it dude omg (;´д`)
I miss hearing people talk my language and talking my language back to them, seeing some of the trends that are popular in my home country, the familiar streets, the excitement of seeing the big city and, of course, WALKABILITY omg. US does not have that one figured out fully yet.
I hope I'm able to save up and go back to visit my family there again soon. It's a long trip away, but I just miss them a lot.
How do you deal with these feelings? Have you ever moved far away from everything you know? I'm just left with so many thoughts and emotions that I don't fully know how to deal with and work through lol.
Man, this documentary is fire though. I fricking love documentaries.
