I was thinking about sharing some music I like, since a couple of days ago got some new music. I thought about a few songs I really liked and wanted to share, just in case someone finds them interesting.

Title: Men I love

Artist: AWAAWA

Why do I like it?: For context, the main singer of the band just gave birth and wrote this song for her baby boy. The song plays with the pronunciation of the word "Somen" (Noodles) in japanese and the words "Some men". She finds similarities between humans and noodles and delivers one powerful message "no matter how you choose to live I will love you the same". That made me feel warm when I listened for the first time. Also, she's the vocalist of Mili, my favorite band.

Title: Mushroom Picker Dance

Artist: Floex (for the Samorost 3 Soundtrack)

Why do I like it?: Samorost 3 is one of my favorite videogames. And this song in particular makes me think about a carefree life and a philosophical purpose through music. Also, it is very catchy.

Title: Sogno di Volare

Artist: Christopher Tin (for the Civilization Soundtrack)

Why do I like it?: A person I once loved hates this song. So when he betrayed me, I blasted this masterpiece loudly. I sang it with every ounce of air in my lungs. Remember, dears, love can be tricky. Sogno di Volare is about dreams. The dream of flying and the accomplishments of humanity. We were born to become something huge and beautiful.

Title: A minute to breathe

Artist: Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (for the Before the Flood Soundtrack)

Why do I like it?: Before the Flood is a documentary about climate change that really made me think very deeply about our planet. The whole Soundtrack is a masterpiece but this song in particular made me cry a bit. It's best to take care of our world...before it's too late.

Title: Black Hole Sun

Artist: Soundgarden

Why do I like it?: Oh boy, Chris Cornell...I love the way his music sounds like a beautiful and optimistic melody and at the same time is filled with sadness. He was a very beautiful soul. It's a shame he passed away. I won't say anything else, I think you should discover his music by yourself. But I would also love to recommend "Let your eyes wander".

Title: Lake

Artist: The Tiny

Why do I like it?: Because of the beautiful lyrics and sounds. The vocalist has a beautiful voice. I feel a bit of envy I have to admit. This song in particular reminds me of a state of mind I often find myself in. Also, I love songs that talk about strong feelings, feelings you can't name...any kind of feelings.

Title: I close my eyes

Artist: The Tiny

Why do I like it: Because of a DnD character! I will introduce this girl someday but she is my first character for a campaign. A gentle necromancer, pretty romantic and innocent. This song expresses passion and the feeling of being home with the right people. I also think your true home is built with those you choose to love. And I really wanted to express that thought through my character.

Title: Creatures Song

Artist: Floex (for the Samorost 3 Soundtrack)

Why do I like it?: I don't know if I already shared this but im a sound enthusiast, and I like this song because it's filled with mouth sounds and the whole scenario makes me feel very calm. Also, if you like curious sounds you should definitely play Samorost 3!

Title: 2012

Artist: Will Wood

Why do I like it?: I love this man. He is charismatic and i can barely follow his ideas through his music. I have so much fun listening to his songs. I recommend every single one of them but definitely 2012 is my favorite because I, also, cannot remember what happened that year.

Title: Stalker's Tango

Artist: Autoheart

Why do I like it?: It's a comfort song. I constantly have very awful nightmares and I woke up in the middle of the night one time. I grabbed my phone and youtube recommended it. I fell in love with this song and fell asleep listening to it. This band has very beautiful songs, not just this one. But Stalker's Tango will be forever special to me.
