so i reset my MacBook and i can’t even log in anymore

Everything is stressful right now. Last night was just awful. On top of that, I can’t log into my Mac!

You see, my Mac has a confusing password I always forget. I know what the password, is but I don’t know how to type it properly. I’ve been meaning to change it. The other day, I kept making failed attempts at unlocking it and the raising time limit was scaring me.

So, I went on the Find My iPhone app and… Had it erased. Now, it’s important to mention that the feature is typically reserved for when your device gets stolen and shipped to a warehouse in China or something. But I was desperate. My Mac was erased.

I then factory reset it by turning it off and then pressing Command + Option + P +R all at once. On my phone, I had it removed from my Find My iPhone. It said if you pressed it, whoever had your laptop would be able to use it.

I had to hook the laptop up to my network. It then asked me to log in using my iCloud account. It took me to a login page, similar to the one you always get when you log in, except it doesn’t take Touch ID and you have to type in both your username and your password.

I’m lost, bro. I sound like I stole this Macbook Air, but I got it for Christmas this year. It was bought from Amazon or Apple. What username do I put in?! I tried to put in my name and all the passwords I’ve used, but none of them are logging me in. I can’t find any help online. Am I just screwed? Do I own a $900 paperweight now?

My brother is more of a tech wiz than I am. Hopefully he can assist me with this . If not… I’m so fucking cooked. I gotta go to my community college in the next hour and a half. Why am I so FUCKED in so many ways. I was not cooked long enough when I was a bun in the oven.
