My personal beginnings were releasing music on a little website you guys might know of called Myspace.
Started making music as a hobby inspired by jpop idols like Morning Mussume, AKB48.
Beckii Cruel gaind popularity with her dance cover of Danjo and later emerged with the cruel angels to release music as idols in japan this brought awareness to the small idol community consisting mostly of cover singers and dancers sharing videos together on YouTube and we had a surge of new community members all shaping the current offshore idol scene you see today.
Of course, there's much more to the story than that but I can only speak for myself as I know there are now so many of us with unique journeys, perspectives, and experiences to share.
The MySpace photo editing tools made the image that sparked the start of my story as an indie idol
this started out as a fan sign between online friends when she told me it looked like an album cover and we should start a group it was all over for me and I started learning to make questionable quality music and making a ton of mistakes but boy has it been fun and the many people I've had the privilege of meeting and working with over the years I'm so grateful for.
