as above, so below

first time watching a found footage movie! it was pretty appealing even though it felt like a big blow to sacrifice cinematic camera shots for the authentic feel. i felt uncomfortable for most of my viewing but the jumpscares never got me. most of them were bad but that's how i expect horror movies to be in this age. 8/10 or so

specific notes: scarlett is such an unforgivably selfish person at the expense of george near the beginning... it felt like i was supposed to just move on from her poor actions once the rest of the jumpscares started kicking in. i couldn't forget about it though! i was feeling bad for him especially for like the whole thing. benji too. how did that guy have the courage to even TRY to stay behind from the group when La Toupe was still potentially on the loose? he has been through enough

i really didn't expect the romance between scarlett & george. i simply worry for him
