jusr me and my pathetic anger towards "better lookin" people

i see in my schoolย  some alternative people and im starting to feel insure about myself
most i see are thin, straight haired, cool makeup, good sens of fashion ect
and theres me who look like an idiot
my hair is short and curly, i couldย  barely keep my makeup because often it smudges
i have/had no clue how to style my clothes

i don't want to hate those random people but i feel bitter and jealous about how they look like "ideal alt" or whateverย  stupid term my stupid brain come up with

but threre some positives i guess? im trying to try dress more alternative than before, i more often try wear long skirts and jewellery, my makeup is mostly some corrector powder and eyliner so it does not look that bad

I think a better way to deal with this is to try to absorb more people who are alt and look like you. I don't support dollskill/shein morally, but for inspo digital window shopping they often have plus size offerings in their more alt stuff, modeled by real plus size people. Sometimes dangerfeild has plus size models

Your some issue goes for every community bc we are all under the heel of western media that prefers skinny/light/baby skin/smooth hair/ ect. but also remember that OG OG punks/ alt Icons are often not that conventionally attractive/normal looking - Dio, Mana-sama, Sweet (band), Cyndi Lauper ect

Plus some of it is that you haven't figured your stuff out yet. If you look at media from the time, completely destroyed frizzed permed out hair was actually V V in style untill about the turn of the century, when it was replaced with a nearly completely oiled down look, which is achieved largely py pomade and hair oils. If you really, really want the later genres of punk where flatter hair become more in style, there are a bunch of you tubes managing curl types, but first you need to ID how tight your curl pattern is so you can look at the right videos.

Don't let the mainstream way of thinking entrench itself too deeply, it will stop you from being able to absorb the best of life.

Girl, just dress and do your makeup how it makes you feel comfortable, don't stress yourself too much on looking perfect cause no one is. And dw because surely there is someone who thinks you are pretty cool. And btw curly hair are soo pretty( ใ€ƒโ–ฝใ€ƒ)
