Okok so I should have posted this earlier because I've had this thought for a while, but here it is anyway.
First off, I agree with everyone else this movie looks stupid asf. BUT I want to rant abt the choice to make the Piglins the villains. My question is why??? They only harm the player if they dont have gold on or are provoked. They are literally just the people of the Nether why are they the villain's. The only bad Piglins are the Piglin Brutes and they're only in bastions! I genuinely don't understand this decision because the Illigers were RIGHT THERE. AND THEY'RE ACTUALLY EVIL!!! Why would you make the random pigs the bad guys when the real bad guys are right there. I will never get over this. Thanks 4 reading <3

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this movie was in development for so long that Mojang didn't even have the Illagers out yet, so the studio couldn't work on using them as the main villains.
Also, trailers only show so much, maybe it'll be different idk
