I know after reading this blog, it will make you go like "no shit sherlock" for those tech savvy people out there, but this is just a reminder.
Spacehey respects your privacy and barely tracks on what you doing, I am using brave browser and it shows me how many trackers or ads got blocked, on the homepage, it's just 1 tracker blocked according to this screenshot of mine

however if you plan on adding background music on your profile, you are technically giving away youtube your visitor's data because it's autoplayed and hidden on the profile.

youtube is owned by google and google is an advertising company so of course they have to collect your data behind your back while you are using their services, especially youtube.
it may sound dumb to you but if you are THIS paranoid like you don't want to tracked by anyone, then be careful and use extensions that protect your privacy (that's unless you don't want to use a chromium browser with a built-in ad blocker.)
(the settings for the brave built-in ad blocker is set on default just in case)

I will never browse the net without an adblocker this days. Every single browser. I trained my grandma even for this.
I have a YouTube video on my profile that may or may not play automatically, heads up for the privacy conscious people.
Something I also do is delete cookies and login data once I closed my browser, something you can tweak on the settings.
Glad to see someone else is privacy conscious as I am, do you have any favorite creators you follow for guides? Not that I needed them, but their advice is very comfy to listen to.
I usually watch Mental outlaw, I get some of ideas from him usually.

Yeah I wish they let people just have a small media player were you could upload your own audio files but the current setup they use is a really smart reason to avoid DMCAs and shit so I can't really compalin
I am not bothered that much since I also use this method too, I believe as long as I am not on youtube itself, Then there would be minimal tracking.

I am studying chemistry for my finals, I have 2 weeks left to finish my finals, I still use windows 10 and I am thinking of switching to LTSC, I chose fedora because it supports hyprland and I love hyprland so much after using it for 2 months, I am actually happy to see a linux user like you, you are pretty based ngl!

damn based shit good luck bro
And yeah that's cool, hyprland's awesome. If you're thinking about LTSC don't get 10 though, since support programs are going to stop supporting its kernel anyways so just get 11 and theme it like 10 (after all it is still basically win 10 udner the hood)

that's the problem, My pc is pretty dated in terms of specs, we are talking about 8 GB and i3 7th gen, I am pretty concerned that win11 will have huge impact on my pc's performance but I have win11 laptop and it has the same specs as the one I am using minus the dedicated card so I will try to do my daily usage on it before I consider the switch.

my proof for how little spacehey tracks you is the fact that it doesnt even remember emails for deleted accounts. this is my second account on here and i made it with the same email as the first one lmao
