friend rat (rant)

upload from my bulletin cuz i wanna look back on this post after we hangout

ugh one of my bestfriends went to school like all the way across the country and we were supposed to see each other over the summer. I was originally going to go visit them, but then they went to Paris with their (then) partner instead. :( Then they literally asked me to move in with them over the summer, so i message them a few months before summer and ask abt their plans and they said they were spending the summer in Amsterdam...

I haven't seen them since last Christmas and they messaged me a week ago they're coming back for literally 4 days... like great those days all fall around Christmas day, Eve, and New Years.. :((

It just sucks because I've tried putting effort into seeing them and interacting with them, but it seems like they ditch me any chance they get. and maybe this is petty but they're rich and im honestly pretty poor in comparison so like it takes a lot to save money to try to go see them only for them to cancel without warning. like at the very least they could come see me but they won't even do that. And idk i just always valued their friendship sm but maybe its onesided :(

ugh akhdskhas i hate to sound bratty like a kid but idk i dont feel like my feelings r wrong idk ik its complicated
