supermoon/lunar eclipse

The supermoon eclipse

Good morning, lovely people of SpaceHey! This week was so rough givem the situation my grandma was in. She passed away yesterday morning after being on hospice since last Wednesday. I mainly spent my time at my cousin's house where she was staying keeping the little kids occupied.

On Sunday evening, her two daughters wanted me to play outside with them. Their backyard is rather neat. They have a hill on top of some sort of closet. There's a door underneath this hill. The girls wanted me to record their silly little tasks.

My attention was caught by a huge white/yellow orb hiding in the trees. At this point, it was still somewhat bright out. The sun was setting fast, though. At first I thought it was some kind of light some distance away, but I quickly realized that the orb was the moon! It was humongous! Much more large than it usually looks. I really wish I had my pair of good binoculars.

I searched up for what was up. Apparently, we're in a supermoon eclipse. Tonight the moon should look its biggest, at its peak. The lunar eclipse. I highly recommend stepping outside and watching it tonight if you live in an area with little or no light pollution. Meteor showers are predicted to take place, too.

Some time zones for when to see the moon
