Rio, the movie AND the party game released for the Wii (and a bunch of other consoles)

God, thank you for putting this game on earth for me. KWAH, I'm not religious, but this might genuinely convert me cause gosh darn it, this game is amazing.

I grew up without lots of money (like many kids because I didn't have a job obviously, because I was, like, 8), so I would borrow games from the library from the game section. I've played a bunch of Wii games, but nothing will ever compare to this fricking game, Rio. 

I was a raging homosexual as a kid, I had the fattest crush on Jewel as a wee baby and would purposefully pretend to be Blu in my own little daydreams about the movie, just so I could get closer to Jewel. When I found out about this game when I was at the library and that I could play against her (and let her win so maybe the game would let me get closer to her or something??), I kept renting it OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

I recently remembered this yesterday as I was going through some ROM sites and scrolled past it... I think that stupid party game (that I only ever played with myself cause I also had no friends) and the movie did some type of thing to little child me. 

Rio turned me gay, and I am not complaining.

I live on in my adult life as a simple pansexual, but even so, a part of my heart will always belong to the spix macaw, jewel <33 teehee
