So recently I was looking up obscure spider-man characters and came across the web man who is basically a color swapped version of spider-man he's the "evil mirror twin" of spider-man created by doctor doom needless to say I fell in love with the character it's very silly and campy and I just love that type of stuff.
Web man is from the comic spidey super stories which ran for 57 issues from 1974-1982 and was aimed at an Audience of children from ages 6-10 which the comic was based on the spider-man segments on the electronic company (an educational children's program running from 1971-1977 for 6 seasons and continued to run reruns 1985 then having reruns on noggin from 1999-2003) but unfortunately some of the spider-man segments have become lost only having 16/29 segments produced (to my knowledge) all 16 of the segments available on YouTube and its a shame because this was the first live action Appearance of live action spider-man and in the segments spider-man never talked out loud using word balloons in order to Encourage kids to Reed also the segments are just funny this the the show the iconic the wall appeared in and other quotes I like are
"And he spent the rest of his day in his birthday suit...doing laundry"
"This is one wall you'll never crawl"
"But one her 8th birthday she did NOT receive a yellow pony turning to a life of crime"
"And suddenly Dracula appeared"
"Excuse me sir...oh dear it appears someone's been mugged well I don't want to get involved"
"Look you better catch this furry monster or I'm going to stop reading your comic books"
Idk maybe I'm just easily entertained but I like it and it makes me really sad that some of the episodes are lost and no one is looking for them (I don't think) and I've never hunt for lost media I love lost media I've just never hunt for any of it just watching from the side lines and dont know where to start we have all the titles and plots summaries. Idk I just want to watch it
