9.15.24 #2 - What I Did Today !!

★ ANTIQUING: I went to this little antique shop near my school today and when I tell you I wanted to buy the left half of the store I MEAN IT. I was surprised, a lot of the antique shops around me never really hold up, but this one FOR REAL SLAYED!! (◡ ω ◡) I only got like 3 NASA pins, but I was so close to getting these vintage(ish) political pins from circa 90s-00s. Not because I support Bush, Al Gore, or Nixon but because man did those pins not age well. And also just historical things are so, sooo cool. 

Really, REALLY need to go to the big one in Temecula sometime. It's like a Walmart sized antique shop with the coolest shit in it. (I feel like a grandma raving about antique shops but like... man you have to be there. (人*´∀｀)｡*ﾟ+)

★ A QUICK BITE: Got lunch with my mom (Islands) afterwards and for the most part, the day has been super lax. 

★ RESERVOIR DOGS (SPOILERS?): I watched Reservoir Dogs yesterday and I have mixed thoughts. My parents turned off the subtitles but sometimes the actors were REALLY hard to understand. 

The whole thing with a lot of Quentin Tarantino films is the dialogue, which was very good, don't get me wrong!, I just could barely keep up with what they were saying. And it was a little slow at times, but when it got good it got GOOD! (✯ᴗ✯) The scene with Mr. Blonde and the cop was pretty awesome (and gruesome). I liked where the story went, with the little twist that Mr. Orange was the rat the whole time, but I think my overall experience would have been better if I could actually, you know, tell what they were saying. (｡ŏ﹏ŏ) Maybe sometime I'll re-watch it subs on.
