ok so i finished fallout 4 on my ps5 a couple of months ago, and it was honestly a really fun experience. i hyperfixated on it for a while but i feel like i'm ready to start a new fallout game. problem is though, is that when i picked up fallout new vegas and popped it into my ps3, i started playing it (and i obviously expected it to be different) and it has super weird controls compared to 4. like why is shooting with r1 instead of r2? also the sensitivity was horrible so i had to turn that up all the way. apparently new vegas is really good but i'm gonna be honsest- i'm wayyyy too attached to fallout 4 for this

As a huge fan of Fallout NV and 4, I completely understand why. I legit do consider NV the better game, if only because the RPG elements and story/writing are so much more in depth than in 4 (in my opinion). But I found the gameplay of 4 (mainly the much better shooting controls) better. I still suggest you give NV another shot
