I wanna make a thing pls help

So basically, I am really bad at remembering names but I need to remember at least 50 seperate names for exams later this school year. I already know how to make the characters memorable for myself, but I don't want to just leave them floating in a void, so i want to think of a plot for this. Trouble is, I am not creative in the slightest :(

More details : The names are sociology stuff, and my idea so far is something like Bungou stray dogs ( using names of real people to make characters that share certain traits with the real people or are based on them in some way ) BUT obviously I don't want this to be a ripoff of BSD 

Anyways, If you have any tiny bit on an idea, please share it I am desperate
