I wonder why people get all riled up when someone makes a DNI (Do Not Interact) list or fills their bio with stickers, blinkies, and gifs. It seems like this generation has become incredibly hatefulāyou can't post anything publicly without receiving some form of backlash, even in your own little online space.
If someone wants to post about their interests, their DNIs, their struggles, or anything personal, why should it matter? Sure, maybe half the people online have posted about the same thing, but what harm does it actually do? It doesnāt affect anyone directly, and all anyone has to do is simply scroll past if they're not interested. Personal posts arenāt meant to be ground-breaking; theyāre just expressions of oneās thoughts, and originality shouldnāt be required in every instance.
Now, I get that whatās considered āharmfulā can vary from person to person. Some people might find certain posts triggering, and I respect that. But in most casesālike seeing 10 similar DNI or vent postsāitās not harmful. Youāll be fine. If a post doesnāt align with your personal taste or interests, the solution is easy: scroll past or mute it.
What I truly donāt understand is the hate itself. Anonymity makes it easy to leave hateful comments, but why does someone feel the need to mock someoneās poetry by calling it "corny"? Why canāt people just let others express themselves in their own little bubble without feeling the need to tear them down?
I believe in freedom of expression. That being said, there are basic human morals we should all follow. If a post is racist, homophobic, discriminatory, or violating someoneās safety, of course, thatās a different story. In those cases, a block or reporting the content makes sense. But outside of that, why canāt people just allow others to exist online as they are?
Everyone should have the freedom to express themselves, and everyone should be able to have their own opinions. No one is inherently a good person, but itās how we treat othersāespecially onlineāthat reflects who we are.
Argue with the wall, although this should be the standard, it is unfortunately just my opinion.

Furries arent harming anyone, and almost all therians are just little kids exploring themselves and presenting themselves as their favorite animal. AHH what a crime. Obviously,, Furry zoophiles are NOT okay, but the majority of them arent that. Majority of them are really nice people, just like everyone else, but sometimes they wear a wolf mask, a tail, or maybe have a fursona, they arent harming anyone.
