When Deimos was born it was said that his mother was so stressed in the birth it turned his whole body white as snow. And when she saw him for the first time after she birthed him she was terrified of his looks. It caused her blood pour in a flow so endless that the doctors weren’t able stop it. 

In her last breaths, his mother voiced her fears. A whisper of fright of her ghostly child before she passed away. And so they named him Deimos.

Deimos was born into a family that worked for the royal house. His mother had been a maid while his father was a servant. When it finally came time for Deimos to work, his father warned him that his life as a daughter would most likely become harder. Especially given his appearance. 

And so Deimos agreed to live on as a son. He let his father cut through his long white hair and practiced deepening his voice. Even considering seeking a witch for help. 

Then when it came time for Deimos to work he chose to be a knight. The work would be hard as a training squire. Since he was so still young, only about 10, he spent at least the next year just shoveling the horse stables. 

Deimos worked diligently every day and even some nights for years until he reached his official knighthood. He turned into an adult and fought off beasts and warriors to earn his title. Pledging his undying loyalty to the Gold family at his dubbing ceremony.
