thoughts: i absoloutely loved this album! the song names, the album cover, the sounds, it was just such a wonderful album.

favorite track(s): my personal favorite was persephone, but i also loved lorelei and pandora (for cindy)

licensed to ill (beastie boys)

thoughts: fun album! a little repetitive, but it's truly a classic. 

favorite track(s): i LOVED slow and low, and i liked paul revere, probably not the best track but i liked the storytelling

rating: 8/10

meliora (ghost)

thoughts: not really my taste, but the band is very talented and it shows in this album.

favorite track(s): a track i enjoyed a lot was mummy dust, although i might have some bias because i associate this song with my friend.

rating: 7/10

crash (dave matthews band)

thoughts: a lot of people think this band is mom rock, and i don't disagree, but i honestly think this album especially has a unique sound that i'm happy to say i grew up with. this album isn't one of extreme skill or huge impact, but it's one that holds a lot of meaning to me.

favorite track(s): i like two step, crash into me, too much, #41, and tripping billies.

rating: 10/10 for me, probably closer to a 7.5/10 realistically. (DMB glazer til i die)

vespertine (björk)

thoughts: incredible album with a clear theme and so many amazing songs. this album is like an experience, i love it sm

favorite track(s): cocoon, inuty, undo, pagan poetry, and aurora are my favorites

thoughts: this album was cool, UNTIL i looked up the lead singer and realized that some middle aged white man who looked like my neighbour was singing ts. ruined like a song or two for me but i listened twice and the second time was okay! overall i liked this album

thoughts: i adored this album, the futuristic pop sound of it was just amazing.

thoughts: kind of over offensive/inappropriate even for rap, but whatever. i think it's a classic and very influential record that is a really fun listen! i enjoyed this album a lot but i wouldn't really listen in my free time, you know?

favorite track(s): fuck tha police, gangsta gangsta, express yourself

ready to die (biggie)

thoughts: absoloutely love the beats on this album, the flows were good but some lyrics were iffy (why is he making raven-symoné call date rape?) the biggest ick i got from this album, though, were the INTERLUDES. I DO NOT WANT TO LISTEN TO SOMEONE GIVING BIGGIE HEAD FOR A MINUTE AND A HALF.

favorite track(s): things done changed, gimme the loot, machine gun funk, one more chance, juicy, big poppa (biggie did it better than msi, plus he did it first, cry about it msi glazers)

thoughts: i loved this album, it was a nice and easy listen! nothing stood out but it's still lovely. i don't think it was a good album to say goodbye, though. i would've preferred something more playful or sentimental. they stuck to their classic sound, though, and it worked out, the album was good!

favorite track(s): serpentskirt, treasure hiding, seekers who are lovers

the loved one (strange boutique)

thoughts: kind of a boring album, but it was good! the vibe reminded me of the cure, but it wasn't quite an exact match to the cure. the vocalist was good, and i enjoyed the instrumentals. song themes were repetitive, though.
