You want a true actually scary ghost story?

As a kid life wasn't even that bright as a literal orphan. I went through so many foster families that when I was actually being adopted I asked the people who adopted me when they were going to send me back. I got adopted and we moved into a free house (I'm serious it came with her job) after a while of living there my mother grows Ill and passes away in a hospital pretty far from home. I needed a break... And it just so happened my grandparents were wanting to take me to Gatlinburg (jackpot so I thought) I spent most of my time in the hotel while we were there and on the ride home we stop at a rest stop it's still light out and now the creepy part for you to understand you need to know the layout the door goes straight to a long hallway with only one door and then it goes into a main area and a the hallway continues on the other side that area had the men's restroom. I walk in the door of the building and look down the hallway it's long I can't stress that detail enough the woman's bathroom is right in the middle of a long hallway with no other exits just that door I walk in and there's a really old lady drying her hands I literally look away and then back and she's beside me holding my arm and she wheezes "you're mother will look down on you." I took comfort in that till she added "even after you rest your own head for eternity she will always look down on you" and she leaves I kid you not I walk out after her and she's gone. The hallway was way to long for her to have walked away by the time I walked out of the bathroom and she was definitely to frail to sprint she disappeared and I stayed for a bit watching doors of the building but I never saw her again. I even asked my grandmother if she saw anyone walk out before me and she said no. To this day this situation still creeps me out I have more ghost stores that aren't fake are mine and are entire true one involves a light fixture literally exploding let me know if you all want more. Sorry for the bad punctuation I'm no smart and that's the only way to put it.
