writing question: Can I write a story about terrorism?

it isnt to glorify terrorism or such obviously, but my story is about my main character sniping the president of venezuela ( not telling the real name in the story for reasons) and a terrorist organization asked him to join,.. etc.. its actually kinda off of place and stuff...
 but is this acceptable? if it is, can you get me some ideas on how to end them?? and if not, can y'all please give me some other "criminal organization" ideas??

Im done with the lore and plot already...

this story is actually based off colombia and venezuela (the character is venezuelan and moves to colombia) and im too attached to those countries so i cant change them or else id lose interest on my story

plus this is a story for a shooter game (lmfao)

describe in once sentence: a government problem in Venezuela starts an anarchist revolution, which gets out of place. ------ lore: Im thinking to make the problem in Venezuela because Venezuela already has the problem I dont know about the politics in Colombia tho in this story, in 2014/2015, Oscar votes for the opposition of the president who supports dictatorship. (wow) his name could be "mad" cause real people aint allowed this is too controversial... eh... i can do whatever i want... i guess... but mad got reelected again. since then, Oscar fled to Cucuta, where he met sofia. then, he moved to department 2, (Antioquia, Medellin). Oscar was working as a bus driver, yeah yeah, and got sent an invite to ave, a terrorist organization for the revolution. now Oscar actually cares about politics buh, he fled to Colombia to just get out of the situation and forget everything about what happened there. he wasn't medicated for schizophrenia either, nor he ever knew he had it, until symptoms got worse... etc. yall... dep2 is real... i dont think i should be typing no more.... /j (dep2 is the story name) so like the popularity w ave got higher, like yknow people of all ages can participate in it, and it gives big money. so in 2018(thinking to make it the same day maduro was almost executed, search that up.) Oscar snipes mad, and hit the target. Oscar is now being tracked down, (but they dont know it's him tho) after the president has been shot, ave (excluding cat, Oscar and etc.) did not stop, they did not want a government forever. they took over Venezuela and is now targetting Colombia, Ecuador, and so on. Parts of Guyana have been informed about AVE because of this.
