My dearest girl

Two days ago we had to say goodbye to my most beautiful, bestest girl. She'd been struggling with illness for a few months, but she was doing better. We knew she didn't have long but we didn't expect to have to say goodbye so soon. Our other dog is restless, we let him smell her blanket so he'd realise where she went, but he hasn't been the same. It breaks my heart
