2038 bug problem thoughts

Real quick, i understand that 2038 is a while from now but this is alittle rant and im bored and sick so bare with me.

to explain the 2038 bug problem, its a time computing problem that occurs after 03:14:07 UTC on jan 19, 2038. And as a linux user, im cooked. But anyway, the minimum representable date is friday 1901-12-13 and the maximum is tuesday 2038-01-19. Can't we make time emulators? Like emulators that emulate past time that works for whatever reason need it for, like texting, reports, news, calling people, etc. AND...also video games. I feel like if u can emulate a video game, u can emulate fake time but im probably 100% wrong. Also i wonder if electric sex toys will be affected by this.
