class suspension, movies, uni, and class suspension.... again?

last week most of my classes (3/4 days) were suspended due to the heavy continuous rain that would give students a hard time to travel. so far i had to only go to 2 online meetings cuz our teachers requested us to than make up for it. the rest of the days were used for watching movies and going out at night to eat or just to simply go out w my mom. she had to leave to go back and work plus my sister and grandma were staying there.

wat ive watched so far was Flashdance ('83) yuppp the one w jennifer beals cuz yknow the L word. i cant imagine working, well not working, but being on a screen at a very vulnerable age. its kinda obvious whoever edited and/or the cinematographer was a man. like girl was the shot at the hips and butt needed to be that long? i liked the story and how it was plotted cuz it was realistic and it drew closer to me probably cuz i still think im #foreveryoung. was the close up shot of the boob rlly needed? if it was farther it wouldve been okay but the CLOSE UP? kaka18 lng ni girl. i had no idea she was rlly 18, in story and irl, i assumed the story was abt a young adult not a teenager 💀. controversial opinion but i think this wouldve been better if the theme was wlw. the boss couldve been there yeah but no one gaf abt him. the scene where alex was whispering to herself get up cuz her friend crashed down after a failed jump, and gloria was playing. reminds me of i,tonya like omgggggg can i just say that that film lowkey rlly made me appreciate movies more on a serious note and 8th or 9th gr me was so gagged i couldnt stop thinking of it for MONTHS. another thing abt this movie was the soundtrack. dare i say iconic? i cant stop listening to maniac while walking to school and doing the running in place thing like in the movie (well mentally). what a feeling being an original soundtrack is iconic too like wooooow. the opening number..... YASSSSSSSSSS
