Lately I have really getting back into my scenemo phase (tho i never really left it lol), that being part of the reason why I made an account on here lolol. I never had a myspace account when I was younger, so I’m starting to express myself more by being here and hopefully making some new friends! I love it, learning html/css just like I used to do back in the day for tumblr and deviantart. Those were the days.
Nowadays I’m trying to discover myself, and part of that is through fashion!! Ugh I really want to cut my hair and dye it, buy wigs to tease and extensions, get ripped skinny jeans and cute skirts and make kandi AHHHHH!!! I want to dress scene in public and express myself, experiment with androgyny a bit, but I’m admittedly nervous to do so. Dressing so bold will garner a type of unwanted attention, especially being a guy, but I think that doing this will do me a lot of good. I can’t wait to get out there and start going out places and seeing bands and meeting peeps.
Any peeps have experience dressing alt in public or overcoming your fears regarding the topic? I would love to hear ^^

I'd say start small and work your way up to get more comfortable, and remember that what other ppl might say doesn't mean shit if it makes you happier in your own body ^^ there's always gonna be ppl who don't understand or want to judge ppl they see as different but keeping your head high and remembering that YOU think you look cool asf is the best you can do to overcome that fear. At least that's how I see it lol

I started with makeup looks and colored "lipstick" (really it was lip gloss with eyeshadow patted in for different colors lol) but honestly nowadays I just go out in clown makeup or do Juggalo looks and I have fun with that a lot, jewelry is a good small start too you can take it off easy if you get self concise or overstimulated :3
